What’s for dinner?  Details coming soon and we can assure you it will be delicious!

Who is our cookie decorating instructor? Amanda Henneman is a self-taught cookie decorator who believes that everything should taste better than it looks which is why she decorates cookies with a glaze icing. She knew there had to be a way to make really cute cookies that tasted super yummy too. After she accomplished that first mission, she decided world domination with glaze icing was the natural next step. Now she teaches classes and give everyone the confidence to make their own super cute, but even yummier, cookies.

What will we be doing in the cookie workshop? In the class you will decorate four floral themed cookies from start to finish. You will learn Amanda’s best tips for decorating with glaze icing and learn to use different consistencies so you can make your own adorable cookies with your family and “wow” them with your newly developed skills.  Everyone leaves in disbelief that THEY created THAT and Amanda can’t wait to help you do the same.  Connect with Amanda on Instagram!

Who is our guest speaker? As a child, Marianne naturally gravitated toward activities that brought her happiness—giving small gifts wrapped in toilet (wrapping) paper to her family, planting and tending pansies in a shady corner of the yard, becoming engrossed in learning the piano.

After graduating from BYU and marrying the best man ever (!), she settled down to being a stay-at-home mom.  Bish and Marianne were blessed with three beautiful individuals to raise and call their children.  After that hectic, joyful, challenging time of life, Marianne again refocused on what really helps women live a full, happy, blossoming life.

Marianne has learned to create and maintain happiness from studying and using a wide variety of tools, therapies, and ideas.  She has found research-proven activities that consistently bring happiness, and loves sharing what she’s learned to help others create their own, unique style of happiness.

Marianne will be speaking on the topic of Joy: | a feeling of good pleasure and happiness that is dependent on who Jesus is rather than on who we are or what is happening around us| (Delight, Wonder, Happiness)

Who is our entertainer? Hilary Weeks was raised in Anchorage, Alaska where her family often enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors – including frequent fishing trips.  She has always loved music.  She began taking piano lessons at age 8 and wrote her first song at age 14. Hilary’s first CD, He Hears Me, released in 1996 and over the past 25 years she has released a total of 14 solo albums.  Hilary was the first LDS musician to chart on the Christian Billboard charts and three of her CDs have charted in the top ten.
