Who is our floral instructor? Shannon DeHart is the founder of Chateau Monette Flower Farm located in West Mountain, Utah. She has been flower farming for 9 years now. Shannon and her team grow a little over 2 acres of flowers. She sells to florists, arranges wedding florals, hosts public you picks, teaches workshops and much more. Shannon has a wonderful husband who supports her crazy hobby/business and together they have a small army of 9 kids that keep them on their toes! What will we be doing in the floral workshop? For our spring workshop we will be learning how to arrange fresh cut flowers inside a beautiful pitcher vase! You’ll learn important technique styling and design using the freshest of flowers from Chateau Monette. Please bring a pair of scissors to the event. Everything else will be provided!
Who is our guest speaker? Heidi DeGraffenried is a holistic certified life coach, who has been guiding women for over twenty five years to help them rediscover their feminine value, reignite their creative spark, and reclaim the power of living in the feminine way. In her core coaching sessions she creates a space for women to connect to their highest self and gain clarity, heal, and move forward with peace and purpose. She has presented at many classes, workshops, and retreats. And has done extensive one on one sessions. Her book “A woman’s guide to power” is set to release mid 2022. She is the wife to her husband who she looks up to, literally and mother of six children and grandmother to the two cutest babies in the whole universe. She lives in Woodland Hills and loves walking the incredibly steep hills, as long as she’s with a friend, doing yoga, and repurposing old furniture and art work. Who is our entertainer? Steve Soelberg is a stand-up comedian who grew up in Seattle, WA. He’s been working as a stand-up for ten years, and it’s done wonders for his middle child syndrome! His clips on Facebook and Youtube have garnered millions of views. He performed at the famous Oddball comedy festival that included Demetri Martin, Sarah Silverman, and Jim Gaffigan. What is the dress? This is an evening designed to refill your soul – so wear whatever feels comfortable for you! Casual – perfect. Dressy – perfect. Pjs – totally fine. Prom dress – a little weird, but sure.
What about COVID? Our location is spacious and cozy. Seating for the event will not accommodate 6 feet distancing. Masks are optional but not required. If the event is cancelled due to COVID, refunds will be issued.
What if my plans change and I can’t come? Refunds will not be issued in the event of personal change in plans. However, your seat is transferable and you may sell or give your seat to another person.
Who can come? This event is suitable for 16 and older.
