For the first time in as long as I can remember, I forgot about the Women’s Broadcast.

Naughty, I know.

Fortunately, I have responsible daughters and one of them said to me, “Hey isn’t the Women’s Broadcast on right now?”  We raced to the television and turned it on, listening to the last two talks.  Since then I have re-listened and read those beautiful messages.

After General Conference, I had a bit of personal inspiration.  I had the idea to choose one quote from each of the Conference talks, compile them and review the quotes daily.  I haven’t decided how I want to compile them yet…that bit of inspiration is still coming.  But, I thought I would share my four favorite quotes from the Women’s Broadcast with you!

I chose this quote from Sister Cordon’s talk because (I hate to admit this) I have let my scripture study slack a little.  I used to be so diligent about waking up early and studying but life has gotten the best of me and my daily study has been sporadic.  The last two weeks or so, I have recommitted myself to regular, meaningful study and it has been really nice.

To me this quote is a reminder that each daily effort, small sacrifice, simple act of kindness and faithful obedience will add up to a beautiful life that is accepted by the Lord.  It is a reminder that we matter – we each make a difference.

Sometimes I question whether or not I am hearing the Spirit – this helps me trust that I AM!  Once in a while we see the fruits of following the Spirit and the good that comes from serving.  Those moments are so enriching and meaningful.  They make us want to keep doing good!

Can we be open with each other here?  I struggle to have charity.  I TRY, but I feel like I fall short more often than not.  Boy, did this quote give me courage to keep trying!

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.  Blog to you soon,
